01

Mobile visitors arrive with a job to do

A leaking roof, a car that will not start or a move-out clean is not a browsing exercise. The customer is trying to confirm fit, trust and availability quickly. Your first screen should answer what you do, where you work and how to take the next step.

02

The call path is hidden

If the visitor has to open a menu, hunt through a contact page or copy a phone number, the website is adding friction at the exact moment urgency is highest. Use a clear call action and a short request path without burying either.

03

The page asks for too much too soon

Long forms feel expensive on a phone. Start with the minimum information needed to continue, then ask for useful context progressively. Every field should earn its place.

04

The fix is clarity, not decoration

Faster loading, readable type, service-specific pages and direct calls to action will usually do more for a local business than another animation or generic trust badge.

Contextual next step
